MIMOSA Members Meeting – Year ended Dec 31, 2020

This is the delayed MIMOSA Members Meeting for the year ending Dec 31, 2020.

It is open to all MIMOSA members and will be where regular business activities of the association will be addressed including annual reports and elections of directors and officers.

A separate MIMOSA Open Meeting will be scheduled early in 2021 to include invited guest and discuss alignment with them and the rest of industry.

Open Industrial Interoperability Ecosystem (OIIE) Capital Project Working Group 2nd Meeting

The IPA/MIMOSA OIIE Capital Projects Working Group will hold its second meeting on December 17, 2020.  The meeting will follow-up on the 1st meeting (held November 4, 2020) and start to establish informal teams to identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement in the capital projects industry that may benefit from an improved approach to digital transformation. Once this is done, priorities will be agreed and established to help drive a pragmatic effort for business improvement in this sector.

The effort will be based on a formal approach for developing Case Studies, Business Cases and Use Cases linked to the OIIE and ISO 18101.  After a brief review of the purpose for the effort and the methodology we are using, volunteer facilitators will help each team apply the methodology to start the collaborative work process.

2020 MIMOSA Year End Meeting

In order to address the many conflicting commitments associated with COVID-19 responses, the 2020 MIMOSA Annual Members Meeting will be held in the first 2 months of 2021 at a date and time to be agreed and published in January.

This 2020 Year End Meeting will be held to provide a short summary of current status and activities and to discuss possible dates for the now postponed 2020 Members Meeting and Open Meeting.

MIMOSA 2019 Members Meeting

The MIMOSA 2019 Members Meeting will be held on Tuesday, Dec 3  from 9:00 AM until 5 PM  US CST.  The meeting will be hosted by Dow at their Dow Center location in Houston, TX.  The Address is 1254 Enclave Pkwy, Houston, TX 77077.  A GoToMeeting will also be set up and announced for those MIMOSA members who are unable to attend in person.

Cancelled: MIMOSA 2017 Annual Members and Open Meetings

The meeting was held November 16-17, 2017. Some of the material presented at the Open Meeting can be found on the presentations page.

MEETING Cancellation Notice: The MIMOSA Open and Members meeting has been cancelled due to the recent flooding events in Houston, which resulted in the closure of the BP Conference Facilities. We are in the process of re-scheduling the meetings. The most likely dates are now November 16-17, 2017.

MIMOSA announces their 2017 Annual MIMOSA Open Meeting and MIMOSA Members Meeting to be held in Houston, Texas on Sep 28-29,  2017.  The meeting is being hosted by BP and the address for the meetings is BP Helios,  201 Helios Way Houston, Texas 77079.

Additional details and the agendas for each meeting will be provided as they are developed.

MIMOSA 2016 Annual Members Meetings

MIMOSA announces their Annual MIMOSA Open Meeting and MIMOSA Members Meeting to be held in Houston, Texas on Dec 07,  2016.  The meeting is being hosted by BP and the address for the meetings is BP Helios,  201 Helios Way Houston, Texas 77079.

The MIMOSA Open Meeting will start at 8:30 AM, with registration starting at 8:00 along with coffee and pastries being served.  It will feature discussion including both members and potential members, helping everyone to gain a shared understanding of the Business Issues we are addressing as well as the overall Solutions Methodology, including a focus on the Open Industrial Interoperability Ecosystem (OIIE) as a pragmatic alternative to the status quo.  The MIMOSA Open Meeting will conclude at 13:00.

The MIMOSA Members Meeting will start at 13:30 and continue until 17:30.  The MIMOSA Members Meeting will focus on areas of greatest interest to our members, including Owner/Operators, EPCs, Equipment OEMs, Software Suppliers and invited guests.   It will also include the MIMOSA 2016 Business Meeting.  .

MIMOSA 2015 Members Business Meeting

The MIMOSA 2015 Members Business Meeting will be hosted by BP America in their Houston offices at Westlake Park Blvd. Houston, Tx, 77079 on Dec 1, 2015.

Registration and arrivals will commence at 9:00 AM CST, with coffee and pastries being served in the meeting room.  The informal portion of the meeting will commence at 9:30 AM with a welcome and safety briefing from our host, Ken Dunn.  The formal MIMOSA Business Meeting will begin at 2:00CST and will conclude at 4:00 PM CST.

Logistics: Follow signs to Westlake 1 Visitor parking. Press button on intercom, indicate you are here for Mimosa meeting.  Proceed to Westlake 1 Reception, provide driver’s license for identification.  Then, ask for directions to Pondview room

MIMOSA 2014 Members Meeting and Open Meetings

MIMOSA is pleased to announce that Chevron will host our annual 2014 Members Meeting and Open Meetings at their Innovation Zone. The 2014 Members Meeting will be held from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Monday Sep 8, 2014. All parties are welcome to the MIMOSA Open Meetings, which will be held from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM on Tuesday, Sep 9, 2014. Your RSVP is requested 10 days in advance of the meetings, so that Chevron may process security information.

The MIMOSA Open Meetings on Sep 9 will be an opportunity to learn more about the important and innovative work MIMOSA is doing to enable standards-based interoperability in cooperation with other industry standards organizations. In particular, the meetings will provide significant background information helpful to understand key activities which also relate to the subsequent Joint Fiatech, MIMOSA, PCA RDL Workshop. All are welcome to attend, but we extend a special invitation to our colleagues at Fiatech and POSC Caesar Association (PCA). BP will also host the ISO TC 184/WG 6 Working Group on Thursday, Sep 11 and Friday Sep 12.

A special dinner will be held on Tuesday evening bridging the MIMOSA meetings and the Joint Fiatech, MIMOSA, PCA RDL Workshop to be hosted by BP on Wednesday, Sep 10 at their IT&S facilities located at 737 Eldridge Parkway, Houston, TX.
